Bitcoin rebounds after Trump claims the war has ended

Bitcoin opened at $63,553.08 on Friday, June 12, up 3.4% from the prior day, and edged up to about $63,718 in early trading. Ethereum opened at $1,671.71, also up roughly 3.2%.

The rebound followed comments from President Trump claiming the conflict had ended — a headline that injected fresh optimism into risk assets after a brutal start to the month for crypto.

The bounce marked the beginning of a multi-day recovery that would carry Bitcoin back above $66,000 the following week, once a formal ceasefire was confirmed.
